Description of Service

Scale for Grams is an AI-powered utility application that provides approximate weight estimates, calorie information, object identification, item counting, and dimension measurements based on photos taken with your device's camera. The App uses artificial intelligence and computer vision to analyze images and generate estimates.

Important Disclaimer — Estimation Only

THE APP PROVIDES AI-GENERATED APPROXIMATIONS, NOT PRECISE MEASUREMENTS. Weight estimates, calorie counts, and dimension measurements are generated by artificial intelligence based on image analysis and should be treated as approximations only. The App does not physically weigh objects and cannot replace a calibrated scale, nutritional laboratory analysis, or precision measuring instruments. Do not rely on the App for applications requiring exact measurements, including but not limited to: medical dosing, scientific research, commercial transactions, legal compliance, or any situation where precise weight is critical.

Subscription Terms

The App offers a free tier with 3 scans. Premium access ("Scale Pro") is available via auto-renewing subscriptions:

Weekly Plan: Recurring subscription. Yearly Plan: Recurring subscription with a free trial period.

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your App Store account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings under Subscriptions.

If offered, free trial periods automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial expires. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to: use the App for any commercial weighing or measurement services that require certified accuracy; attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI models used in the App; use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our services; submit images containing illegal content for analysis.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, AI models, and content, is owned by ProcessFlow, Inc. and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PROCESSFLOW, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES ARISING FROM: reliance on weight estimates, calorie counts, or measurements provided by the App; decisions made based on information provided by the App; interruption or unavailability of the service; errors or inaccuracies in AI-generated results.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ProcessFlow, Inc. from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use the App is immediately revoked. Sections regarding disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or Website. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
